Mobile Phone Charger Circuit without Transformer

Subscribe this Delicious Google Live Reddit Yahoo Favourites

Found this cool circuits on the web. It is very simple to design by using new parts or components or reusing olds components which you have. This circuits generates 3 V DC supply form an Alternating 220 V electricity. I haven't tested it on my lab but I hope this ciruts works well.

This battery charger is tiny and handy, it doesn't uses the transformer to step down the main 220 V electircity but it uses the combination of a resistor and a capacitor to step down the voltage. Isn't it wow!.

The Circuit Diagram

Mobile Battery Charger Circuit

You can see the values of the components used below:

R1: 56 giga ohms resistor

R2: 220 Mega ohms resistor

C1: 105 Kilo pico farad , 250 voltage capacitor

D1: IN 4007 Diode

D2: Light emitting diode indicator

D3 : IN 4007 Diode

If you use the values of the components stated above the circuit can recharge a 3 voltage rechargeable battery , You can change the value of R1 and C1 to get recharge battery of more voltage.
